The Music & Supper Club
Since the inception of the “Music and Supper Club” it has proved to be an immensely popular concept as was shown last year when every event was sold out.
The Club is extensively used by members and overseas visitors who wish to experience a night of good entertainment at a very reasonable cost.
I don’t think anyone has ever gone away disappointed!
Our Venue
The “La Terrasse” Restaurant in Riberac, which provides very good food at sensible prices and has proved such a popular venue, will again be used by the Club on alternative Tuesday evenings until June when events will be held weekly on the same day.
Alternative Facilities Within The Complex
We are fortunate to be able to choose from two variable styles of surroundings at the one venue when using “La Terrasse”. A superb setting for sunnier evenings when using the “terrace” facility by the river, and the indoor restaurant used during more inclement weather (guess where we will be this coming Tuesday?).
Resident Bands
Our two resident Club bands for 2012 are: -
“Redwood”, (featuring the outstanding guitar playing of Mr. Dan Jones)
and
“Barleycorn”(who provide a more traditional folk music repertoire, but coupled with their very infectious sense of humour).
Other Groups
As the weather gets warmer, we are inviting different bands to join us allowing members the opportunity to sample other types of musical entertainment.
Membership Privileges
This year It is our intention to issue all Club members with an ID number for use to secure places for themselves and their guests when booking.
Priority Booking For Members
This “priority booking” will be allowable for 48 hours before the event.
Although a free facility, “priority booking” is for original members of the club only. New members will have to be active for at least a month before benefitting from this advantage.
New Members
The Club is open to anyone living in, or visiting the area. There are no joining fees, just a desire to enjoy good food, fine wines and excellent music in the company of like minded people.
The First Event For 2012
The Club begins again on Tuesday 1st May 2012 starting at 7.15 p.m. and features the very talented “Barleycorn” band who have a great new lineup of musicians for this year.
The cost of the excellent “Plat de Jour” is just Euros 15.00 per person.
Bookings
Bookings should be made directly to Pierre at La Terrasse Restaurant:

Conclusion
The “Music & Supper Club” and its members have been active in bringing back quality entertainment to our area.
We really do hope that you will join us this coming Tuesday to enjoy the convivial and relaxed atmosphere that was created so well last year, and presently may help get rid of the wintery blues brought on by this very unseasonal weather.
Warmest regards and best wishes,
